From late-night paperwork to purpose-built simplicity
As a practicing doula, Katya experienced the heavy administrative burden that comes with running an independent care practice. Between managing client intake forms, writing contract agreements, tracking payments, and coordinating backup doulas, administrative tasks often encroached on crucial rest time between birth calls.
Generic small business tools were either overly complicated, expensive, or completely tone-deaf to the nuanced needs of perinatal care. Together with Yves — a veteran software developer — they set out to build a platform tailored specifically for birth workers.
