Setting Up Your Business Profile

Your business profile is the foundation of your DoulaBub presence. It's what clients see when they interact with your services.

Accessing Business Settings

1. Navigate to **Dashboard** → **Settings**
2. Click on the **Business Profile** tab
3. Here you can manage all aspects of your business information

Essential Information

Business Details
- **Business Name:** Your official doula practice name
- **Business Type:** Select from Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, or Full Spectrum
- **Years of Experience:** Help clients understand your background
- **Certifications:** List your professional certifications

Contact Information
- **Primary Email:** Your main business email
- **Phone Number:** Direct line for client inquiries
- **Business Address:** Physical location (optional)
- **Website:** Link to your personal website if you have one

Professional Bio
Write a compelling bio that includes:
- Your philosophy on birth and postpartum support
- Your training and experience
- What makes your approach unique
- Personal touches that help clients connect with you

> **Pro Tip:** Keep your bio between 150-300 words for optimal readability

Branding Your Profile

Logo Upload
Upload a professional logo or headshot:
- Recommended size: 400x400px
- Supported formats: JPG, PNG
- Maximum file size: 2MB

Color Theme
Choose brand colors that reflect your practice:
- Primary Color: Main brand color
- Accent Color: Complementary color for highlights

Cover Photo
Add a banner image to your profile:
- Recommended size: 1200x400px
- Should represent your practice's vibe

Service Areas

Define where you provide services:
- Add cities or zip codes you serve
- Set service radius (optional)
- Mark areas with travel fees

Business Hours

Set your typical availability:
- Regular business hours
- Days you typically take appointments
- Preferred contact times

This helps clients know when to expect responses and when you're available.

Payment Settings

Configure how you accept payments:
- Accepted payment methods (card, cash, check, Venmo, etc.)
- Deposit requirements
- Cancellation policy
- Payment terms

Public Directory Listing

Control your visibility in the [public doula directory](/doulas):
- Enable/disable directory listing
- Choose what information to display publicly
- Set preferences for new client inquiries

- Update your availability regularly
